An extremely attractive semi dwarf type juniper that is sometimes used as a groundcover, but is equally as useful as a low growing foreground planting, or colorful accents along borders, walkways, or in front of larger growing species with different color & texture.
Foliage is a bright chartreuse yellow color especially when new, and during the warmer months – turns a rich coppery color in winter, especially in colder climates providing a definite seasonal interest. Adapts to a fairly wide range of soils & conditions, but does prefer well drained soils for best results. Also prefers locations with good sun exposure in order to display the brightest coloration possible.
