A compact dwarf selection of European larch with semi-pendant, cloaked branching holding typical bright green foliage that turns golden yellow before shedding in fall. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 4 feet (1.3 m) tall and wide, an annual growth rate of 4 to 5 inches (10 – 12.5 cm)  This cultivar originated as witch’s broom found in Cherry Valley cemetery near Rockford, Illinois, USA and introduced to the nursery trade in the early 2000s by Rich and Susan Eyre of Rich’s Foxwillow Pines of Woodstock, Illinois.
