Description
In summer, this low, spreading form of birds nest spruce has bright gold foliage above shaded, green sections. Planting in part sun brings out the best gold color and protects the needles from winter sunburn. A beacon of light in the garden! Gold sport that was found by conifer guru Greg Williams on a plant of Picea abies ‘Repens’. This is a Bird’s Nest’ type of habit being low and dense and spreading.
