Curiously beautiful, this eye-catching medium-sized tree has long dark-needled main branches that appear snake-like with no or few pendulous branchlets to disguise their sinuous nature. Vert popular at Scullion Garden, this plant will produce large decorative brown cones. Rare plant in the trade.
