A dwarf, broadly conical selection of Scots pine. Its dense foliage is long needles in its first flush of growth while its second flush is short needled. Sping and summer needle color is rich, shiny green and turns bright yellow in winter, particularly in winter. It’s a real beauty in the large garden or landscape. In essence, this is a winter-gold version of ‘Globosa Viridis.’ After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 4 feet (1.3 m) tall and 3 feet (1 m) wide, a rate of growth of 3 to 5 inches (7.5 – 12 cm) per year.
