An upright evergreen conifer with a dense pyramidal form. New growth in spring is bright yellow-gold which contrasts with the older gray blue-green needles. An outstanding selection from Germany. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. 7′ tall x 4′ wide in 10 years. Hardy to -40 degrees.
