Pinus mugo ‘Donna’s Mini’ stays tiny even when mature, so the super-slow-growing, evergreen dome won’t outgrow a trough or rock garden. Its very short, green needles are only 5/8″ long, and they cover the thickly held branchlets densely, producing a very smooth overall texture. Discovered at Iseli Nursery, the congested conifer seems to resemble a small sea urchin or pincushion. ↑ 30 cm (1’) ↔ 30 cm (1’) Zone 2 ☼
