The dramatic, slow-growing Abies koreana ‘Oberon’ is named after Shakespeare’s King of Fairyland, a tribute to its regal qualities and dwarf form. The irregular, rounded conifer produces striking color and texture with unusually short, wide needles that are dark green on top and white beneath. In winter, snowy white buds decorate the plant’s multiple short shoots and adds to its year-round beauty. Best in cooler climates with full sun or part shade, and moist, well-drained soil.
